One of the aspects of the University of Michigan Women’s Glee Club is our motivation to support and positively impact our surrounding communities. WGC continuously tries to reach out to organizations and groups in order to support philanthropic ventures. Examples of this are our collaborations with Smile Bringer Singers, clothing drives within the organization and creating a team for Relay for Life.

Additionally, WGC strives to sponsor events that spread musicality to different areas. One example is through our Women’s Vocal Arts Day, where we invite up to 500 high school students from the surrounding areas to join us for a choral workshop filled with singing and learning. We also hold a Pre/Post-Hill concert every winter semester dedicated to sharing our love of music and performance to areas outside of Ann Arbor.
