
Emma Mendez
PRESIDENT
Emma Mendez (she/her) is from Oak Lawn, Illinois and a senior studying Chemistry and Spanish on the pre-med track. She is honored to be president this year and continue to work towards the growth of our club for all singers! Outside of academics and glee, Emma is involved in volunteering through Music for Dementia, being a Diversity Peer Educator, researching in the McCrory Lab Group, and working for Magic, Music, & More in Chicago. Emma feels so lucky to continue her singing career in glee and to have have a supportive community with such amazing people here at Michigan!
The President presides over general Glee Club business and Executive Board Meetings, is a member on all committees, ensures that officers are performing their duties, works with the Music Director, plans retreat, provides a handbook to each member, and acts as the official representative of the Women’s Glee Club.
Karenna Mansour
VICE PRESIDENT
Karenna (she/her) is a junior majoring in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience with a minor in Community Action and Social Change. She plans to pursue Social Work after undergrad. She is an Alto 2 in Glee and proud of it! Outside of Glee, Karenna is involved in Wolverine Support Network and Michigan Youth Leadership. She is so excited to work with the Glee alumni this year!
The Vice President assumes duties and delegations of the President when they are unable to complete them, knows and enacts the constitution when necessary, compiles a list of changes to the constitution, and creates operational committees as needed. Furthermore, the Vice President oversees all programs and correspondence involving alumni and friends’ relations.


Allison Frazer
SECRETARY
Allison Frazer (she/her) is a first year PharmD candidate in the UM College of Pharmacy. She is also finishing her last year of a BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a minor in Gender and Health. After graduating, she hopes to pursue a career in clinical pharmacy, specializing in Infectious Disease. This is her 7th semester in WGC and her 2nd year serving on the executive board. Allison is so excited to continue being a part of such an amazing group of talented individuals!
The Secretary takes attendance at all mandatory functions, records minutes at Executive Board Meetings, collects attendance from committee meetings, updates email groups, and posts attendance and meetings to our course Canvas page.
Madeleine Shinder
Finance Manager
Madeleine (she/her) is a sophomore from New York majoring in Mechanical Engineering. She is so excited to be the finance manager of the Women’s Glee Club for the upcoming year! Madeleine is also the president of Midnight Blue, UMWGC’s treble a cappella group. Outside of Glee, she enjoys cooking and playing the guitar.
The finance manager renews and balances all financial accounts of the Glee Club, collects and distributes funds, including Glee Club dues, prepares a budget for the Executive Board, and organizes the Grant-Writing Committee.


Brooke Star
Publicity Manager
Brooke (she/her) is junior studying nursing. Being in glee has allowed her to pursue her love of singing while surrounded by friends. Outside of glee she is involved in different professional organizations, works at Michigan Medicine as a patient care tech, and for a nonprofit as a communications intern. Her hobbies other than singing include hiking, spending time with friends, traveling, and going out to eat in Ann Arbor.
The Publicity Manager is responsible for publicity production including fliers and advertisements, appoints and supervises a Publicity Committee, runs WGC social media, and assists in selling Glee Club merchandise.
Megan Rush
Concert Manager
Megan (she/her) is a senior studying Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience with a minor in Music. She has been a Soprano I in both Women’s Glee and Midnight Blue. In her free time, she enjoy cooking/baking, knitting, and taking walks around Ann Arbor. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology.
The Concert Manager coordinates program production, planning of concert day activities, organizes ticket distribution and sales, organizes and provides new members with dresses, and arranges for recording of the concert.


Kely Rodriguez Diaz
DEI Manager
Kely (she/they) is passionate about making music in a safe and comfortable environment, and overall just happy to be here!
The DEI Manager is responsible for coordinating outreach and incorporating greater DEI issues into the focus of club. They act as a liaison between students and Eboard/faculty for any DEI-related issues that may arise.
Emma Pickett

Emma (she/her) is a senior in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in music from Southfield, MI. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, cooking, and watching Michigan football and basketball. She also loves coffee and dogs. After graduation, she plans on starting her career in General Motors’ TRACK rotational program.
The Outreach Manager leads all club outreach efforts, organizes non-Hill performances (such as the Pre-Hill Concert and Cabaret) and supports small group sings. They help to strengthen the connections between WGC and our greater community.


Carolyn Shrader

Carolyn (she/her) is a senior studying Communication and Media with a minor in French. After graduation, she plans to participate in a teaching assistant program in France before moving there full-time, likely to work in event planning or public relations. She is so excited to be a part of this amazing group and to plan this year’s upcoming tour!
The Tour Manager is responsible for planning and coordinating WGC’s annual tours, both domestic and international. For more information on our travels, check out our tour page!
Ella Maki
Recruitment Coordinator
Ella is a junior majoring in Nursing, with an interest in pursuing a higher education in Midwifery! She is an alto 2 and this is her 4th semester in glee. She works as a Patient Care Tech at Michigan Medicine and is a part of the Nursing Student Government at the school of nursing. She’s so honored to be the first person in this position, and can’t wait to grow the glee club as much as possible!
The Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for handling events and responsibilities related to recruiting new members.
